The school is one of both growing pupil numbers and growing reputation that has a strong focus on being pupil centred.  We have beautiful and extensive grounds (R.H.S. Gold award winners) that the children use on a regular basis to extend their curriculum and understanding of the world.  We have very strong links to our local and wider community involving ourselves in the promotion of Winshill as a great place to live and to learn in.  Our pupils and parents are very important to us and we work closely with them to ensure all children reach their potential through a collaborative partnership.

Despite recent Governmental funding restraints we have managed to maintain high staffing levels, exceptional teaching staff and a good range of educational support services.  These we deploy to ensure pupils progress at a good pace and have appropriate support procedures to enable them to succeed. 

We put several key aspects at the forefront of our educational provision these being :

• Ensuring all children are safe at all times in school.
• Children enjoy coming to school.
• Children have a pride in themselves, their school and their community.
