Instead of the normal P.E. lessons that Year 5 would do, they were treated to a day of golfing activities from the students of Burton College.  The whole year group took part in competitions, skills, accuracy tests, practices and teamwork activities all around the game of golf.  They were challenged to get nearest the hole, up and down hills, accurate aims and hitting as far as possible.  The children, despite the wet weather, enjoyed every part of the session and one child said "I'm going to be Tiger Woods when I grow up!"  As for the students doing their NVQ courses in sports and management they were impressed with both the attitude and behaviour of all the pupils and the space that the school has got.  I'm sure this won't be last time they play golfat Tower View!
