Mrs Foster took her newly formed wind band to the town hall on Monday as part of a musical celebration of instrument playing.  They were joined by the recorders from Kingfisher Academy and the violins from Christchurch.  The 2 hour concert was well attended by parents and friends alike and everyone enjoyed it.

The wind band consists of trombones, cornets, clarinets, flutes and saxophones. All the children played exceptionally well, especially when you understand they have only been  playing as a band since April.  Well done to all and catch them again on Tuesday 26th June and then 11th July.  A big thanks to Mrs Foster and Mrs Mawdsley for their input and hard work.
