On Monday 29th January the school held a first Grand Poetry Performance Assembly where each class performed a Winter based poem to the rest of the school.  It was exciting and teamwork and practice had been rife!  As to the best well........that was 2JD with their poem "The Perfect cup of cocoa" by Lachen Yuen.  This was chosen by Mr Ridout as HIS favourite, but the choice was exceptionally high.  The children listened intently and enjoyed both performing and the performances; it was a joy to watch and the start of something special.  Well done to every class.  The next performance assembly will be 11th June 2018.
