Art Exhibition and beautiful grounds combine for a lovely Friday.
Mrs Burns has worked tirelessly alongside Mrs Hakes to provide a sensational experience for all the pupils at Towerview last week and into this week. Last Friday the school held an open afternoon to celebrate art work that had been completed and was being done during that week. A visiting artist helped children draw animals, Youth for Christ used a green screen to help children explore the world and Mrs Foster gave steel pan workshops to prospective players and some parents! It was clearly a great success.
The whole school had been working on different art projects during the week and pparents were invited to join in on Friday. One parent said "Wow, art is fun at school now...it isn't just drawing!" whilst a seond said " It's nice to see art and music having such a high priority in school; well done Mrs Burns for organising it." The walls were covered in art and the school was buzzing with artistic talent and works. This could be the start of an annual event!
