Morning Exercises hits Tower View Primary School
Mr Geiregger is leading a fitness revolution at tower view Primary School with his twice weekly fitness workouts for all of Key Stage 2 (pupils and staff!). It involves a 15- 20 minutes workout instead of an assembly where stretches, leaps, stength balances and simple exercises are undertaken by everyone. The aim is to ensure children have increased fitness, enjoy and understand the point and reason for being fit and do something active together. Talking to some of the pupils they commented saying "Its good but it can be hard work!" and " I'm sure I'm getting fitter and I've now joined Miss Edkins running group." So this initiative alongside our regular Welly Wednesdays and dance classes will mean Tower View pupils are fitter and ready to work. Well done everyone.
